Bari

About Bari

The labyrinth of lovely South Italian smaller streets, fascinating old ports, Italian sea food, plenty of sunshine - it is also worth coming here to visit only the city of Bari, but there is much more to see in the surroundings: the world heritages and the diverse attractions.

Bari is the capital of Apulia region and Southern Italy's second biggest city. From its busy harbor several Adrian destinations can be easily reached by boats and ferries.

Transportation

Train

Commuter train lines depart from the main train station. FM1 serves the suburban area, FM2 goes to the airport. Line FM3 is under construction.

Bus

Many public buses go around the city. As the port is approx. 20-25 minutes on foot, consider going there by bus 20.

Taxi

Two major companies, Radio Taxi and Apulia Taxi provide the majority of cabs in the city. Taxi prices from the airport to given zones are fixed.
