About Amsterdam

The biggest city of the Netherlands is unique for its houseboats, public transportation on the water and the nearly one million bicycles that are used by the local people. Amsterdam is one of the most romantic European city thanks to its more than 100 km long channel bank and 1281 bridges.

The city district within Singelgracht is part of the UNESCO World Heritage. It was built in the 17th century which is also called the Dutch Golden Age.




There are five metro lines in the city, from which the North-South line have been opened recently. From the main railway station, you may get on four lines, however, it mainly serves the outskirts of Amsterdam.

Amsterdam is one of the most romantic cities in the world. If you wish to make it even more romantic, visit the flower market on the Singel channel, between Koningsplein and Muntplein.
