It is one of the most famous museums in Norway. It is devoted to the work of the famous painter - Edward Munch. The displayed collection was left to the city of Oslo by the artist before his death. The museum is located in the Old Town, at Tøyen, but the collection will be moved to a new building soon.
The Vigeland Sculpture Park is part of Oslo's largest park, the Frogner Park. The Vigeland park was established in 1940, which displays the lifework of the Norwegian sculptor, Gustav Vigeland with more than 212 sculptures. On the hill, you will find the famous art work "The Monolith", which presents the stages of life with a collection of 121 sculptures. One of the art pieces is a self-portrait of Vigeland.
The Opera House, which was designed by architectural firm Snøhetta, is one of the most recognizable building in the country.
