The Nicolae Romanescu park is the largest natural park in eastern Europe. It was desgined by the French architect Edouard Redont and built between 1901 and 1903.
The Alexandru Ioan Cuza street is the main street for the tourists in Criova. In this street you can find the most important buildings like Museum of Natural Sciences, the Gheorghe Asachi Boy's School (today's City Library), Ciopec House and the Prince Moruz house.
This building was built between 1912-1913 and was designed by the architect Petre Antonescu.
